OUR MISSION

Operation P.R.I.D.E. is dedicated to making Bowling Green and Warren County an attractive community that is a shining example for the rest of the state and nation.

Operation P.R.I.D.E. seeks to accomplish this goal by providing a coordinated, comprehensive program designed to enhance the general appearance and sense of place of our community.

The results of this program are an exceptional quality of life and community pride for present and future generations that will ensure our community’s ability to compete in the global marketplace.

FEATURED PROJECT

spring 2025 west side

West Side Tree Planting – Spring 2025

The project will plant two-hundred ninety-five, 2-inch caliper trees along the road right-of-way, and thirty trees at the Parker Bennett Curry elementary school.  ReTree Bowling Green will provide instruction to the elementary students on the importance of trees, their benefits, and their care.  Funding for this project provided by the Inflation Reduction Act and the USDA Forest Service, Urban and Community Forestry Program in partnership with the Kentucky Division of Forestry.
